Heath Care Experience
St. Joseph Hospital, funded by the Catholic Church and the Government of Tanzania, is a vital healthcare facility located a short drive from Moshi Town. Established in 2001, it has expanded continuously, offering essential services with various wards, departments, and modern facilities.
The hospital, with an average of 200-250 outpatients and around 300 inpatients daily, plays a crucial role in providing healthcare to the local community. It welcomes interns and volunteers in fields such as Physiotherapy, Midwifery, Medicine, Nursing, Emergency Care, Surgery, and more. The professional staff of about 62 nurses, 13 doctors, and 8 specialists ensures a supportive environment for medical students and prehealth interns.
