If that’s you, Go Elective’s Placement-Only Program is the ideal option—offering access to meaningful clinical experience without the bundled accommodation and extras.

Additionally, placement-only programs are more affordable than the full program.

What is the Placement-Only Program?

The Placement-Only Program offers structured, supervised clinical internships abroad—without the bundled housing, in-country transport, and meal plans included in the full package. It’s ideal for students who prefer more control over their living arrangements or are traveling with family or friends who have joined them for other reasons, such as a personal visit or holiday.

This program includes:

• A comprehensive pre-trip guide
• Hospital placement fees
• Airport pickup upon arrival
• Access to your myTrip account to manage your experience

• Supervision by our local team and healthcare mentors
• A dedicated clinical mentor
• Certificate of Completion and/or a Recommendation Letter
  
  

While we take care of the essentials, you’ll be responsible for:

• Accommodation
• Meals
• Daily transport (after the initial induction and hospital introduction)
